Fitness base: Your body at 40 will not perform the same as it did at 20. Sorry. So develop a good fitness base of running longer distances (2-4 miles) and then do active stretching. Do 10-15 minutes of agility or ball work in circuits. Then rest. Use ice liberally after working out.
