Gordian Knot: That is a difficult question to answer, but you may be on the right track. Speak with your mental health provider about further testing rule out adhd. It is true that hypomania/mania has similar symptoms to adhd. However, the main differentiating factor is time frames; with adhd, the racing thoughts, inability to focus, failing to complete tasks, etc. Is present all the time.
