Lipase: Was amylase increased? How much alcohol do you usually consume regularly? Did u have abdominal pains? Would recommend sticking to non-alcoholic drinks.

Symptoms?: If there is any reason to think that you've had an episode of pancreatitis (i.e., severe pain in the back or upper abdomen with other symptoms referrable to the abdomen) you'd do well go to easy on the alcohol. If on the other hand the lipase was minimally elevated and ordered as part of a fishing expedition, go ahead and use alcohol wisely.
