A member asked:

Dr say i was taking to high dose of levothyrocine i had a/f can can this also make kidney hurt now that they lower dosis no more kidney pain ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thyroid : If the high dose of levothyroxine was associated with atrial fibrillation, then the atrial fibrillation could cause clots, and (rarely) an arterial clot from the heart could lodge in the renal artery, causing hypoxia in the kidney and damage and pain.
