Thermometer!: If you can, get a temp from her armpit with an old-fashionned thermometer, it will help guide treatment. Skin temps are usually about one degree lower than core temps. Test to make sure her temp doesn't climb over 34.0 celsius. If she is breast fed, make sure she keeps nursing, as that will help her from dehydrating. Have a g.P. Listen to her lungs as soon as you are able.

Should be checked: Any infant under 1 month with temperature above 38 degree celsius (100.4 f) should be properly evaluated asap.

At that age if she : Has a rectal temp 101 degrees or above, call her pediatrician & /or go to the er . Till about 8 weeks, it's better to err on the side of caution.
