No cough syrup.: Your baby is too young for cough syrup. Please quit smoking. The toxic fumes are in your clothes and your hair and every time you cuddle or hold your sweet baby, she breathes it in. If she has a high fever and is crying excessively or not drinking, please bring her to her doctor.

No: The first months are troubled by narrow nasal passages & exposure to dust, fragrences, smoke & other irritants trigger cough.Baby tries to flush these out of the nose with mucous but this often ends as congestion & produces rattling. The best rx is washing out the nose with saline & suctioning the remainder. Eliminate irritants from baby's environment & this will happen less.No cough syrup!!!
