Needs to see Doctor: A 2 yr old with high fever for several days almost always has an infection. Some viral infections don't need treatment, but a bad cough suggests pneumonia +/- wheezing, because of the preceding fever. No otc medicines are made to treat such problems in a 2 yr old. A doctor's exam is needed to check for pneumonia, and antibiotics are needed if there is pneumonia. Other cough disorders are possible.

Nothing: You can try a 1/2 teaspoon of honey before bed. If she has any nasal congestion you can try nasal and suction. Can also try a cool mist vaporizer. Unfortunately, otc cough and cold medicines aren't recommended at all for children 6 years of age and under due to lack of evidence of effectiveness and problems with overdosing.
