TMJ: This does not sound like tmj, especially with the sensation in your arm. It sounds as if you need a neurologist.

Symptoms: Your symptoms are not consistent with TMJ disorders. I would recommend a neurologist.

See your doctor: Hi margara, pain & tingling on the left side of your head and arm, along with dizziness, can be caused by TMJ problems. However, these symptoms can be a sign of something more serious, like stroke and/or cardiovascular disease. See your medical doctor as soon as possible to rule this out. If your md sees nothing wrong, then visit your dentist so that he/she can reevaluate your situation.

TOS: Thoracic outlet syndrome (tos) results from drooping shoulder pinching nerves ; artery to arm, causing autonomic changes ; parasthesias in that extremity. A little known symptom sometimes associated with tos is dizziness; probably resulting from greater occipital nerve impinged as pierces superior trapezius fascia on way to scalp. Imo tos can result from chronic head tilting, as can tmj.

Not normal: Possible but not likely TMJ. See MD ASAP to rule out serious problems.

Possibly, but not probably. See Neurologist. If medically cleared then you may want to see a specialist Oral Pathologist or specialist in management of dents-facial pain.
