1 week: There are multiple elimination diets that involve eliminating several items at once. Eliminate them for about 1 wk and then add back in a new food item every 3 dys or so. If you see a problem with a new food added back in then avoid that food for another wk and then resume the process of adding back 1 food after the other. You can try to add back the suspicious food to confirm your diagnosis.

Depends: Igg (a measure of sensitivity) has a half-life of about 2-3 weeks. Depending on how high starting levels were, it can take up to 2-3 months for igg to fully drop. It may be reasonable to hold a food then rechallenge in perhaps 6 - 8 weeks.
