That Depends...: A full evaluation should precede consideration of any ongoing plan. Then, on an equal and participatory basis with your providers, you decide what might work best; then modify as needed. Do you have a sudden, work related, issue? Is the pain caused by any number of self-limiting problems that minor interventions can handle? If so, you won't need "pain management." get a handle on this first!
