Not to worry: A high ige does not necessarily mean that you have allergies. False positive test results are very possible with ige levels to the point that i hardly ever order them. What counts is your symptoms and overall clinical picture.

What can cause high total IgE besides an allergy!? Doctors can't help me with my symptoms
An allergy test was part of my CBC, It showed Dermatophagoides Pteronyssinus (D1) IGE at 4.48 and Dermatophagoides Farinae (D2) IGE 9.48... I also see my Immunoglobuline E was high.. 121 - lab showed it should be 114 or under to be normal.. concern?
