Lipoma Removal: Lipomas are benign tumor that consist primarily of fatty tissue with varying amounts of fibrous connective tissue. They can be solitary or multiple, and may run in families. Small lipomas of the skin are removed as an office procedure under local. Larger lipomas or lipomas located deep may require anesthesia and a more formal surgical setting.
