Mucus congestion: Allergies of the sinuses cause mucus to build up which in turn could cause infection to set it. Patients with allergies have more sinuses infections but should not have more diarrhea unless they have food allergies. Food allergies can cause diarrhea that appears as tummy bugs. Hypothyroidism can reduce your metabolism and also may effect your immune system.
