A member asked:

Wat does hbsag screenin result 'reactive' indicates?advice me to further procedure which i must take?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Infection: If the sag (surface antigen) is reactive, that is an indication that you have or have been infected with hepatitis b. Your doctor should then order the sab, cab, and genotype. Note if you were vaccinated, the sab should be positive but not the sag.
