Could be Viral : Conjunctivitis could be due to viral infection in which case antibiotics usually do not help and infact may cause even more uncomfortable eyes due to their potentials for allergy. Viral conjunctivitis may run its course and one can benifit from cold compresses and artificial tears. One should try to avoid rubbing the eyes. If symptoms persist, seeing an ophthalmologist is recommend.

See eye doctor: See an eye doctor to verify the diagnosis. It may just be running its natural course or you may be having a complication from the drops. If the antiinflammatory drop is a steroid it can help you considerably but requires close monitoring.
