Vertical jump: Type 2 fibers are fast twitch "power" fibers that use creatine kinase for energy. To increase vertical jump you must increase you power relative to body weight. Heavy squats 80-90% of your 1 rep max 2-3 reps 5 sets with 3-5 minutes of complete rest in between. Does not make you sore as no Lactic Acid induced. Also decreasing body weight to maximize lean mass.
