A member asked:

Ct scan said my upper intestines is consipated i have a slow moving upper do not feel consipated every is moving easy and normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Typically when a ct reports says constipation it refers to the lower intestine or the colon. Even so a ct scan is only suggestive of such diagnosis. It typically shows that there is a large amount of stool in the colon. If the patient also has symptoms of the constipation, then the findings and sypmtoms match. If the patient is otherwise not clinically constipated, it is only a ct finding.
