Very carefully: Light (usually sunlight) is a powerful synchronizer for our internal body clock that regulates sleep and wake. In patients that are delayed sleepers, their body clock tends to be delayed. Light given in measured quantities at very specific times can help advance the clock. Receiving light at the wrong time can make the situation worse. Talk to a sleep specialist.

Light therapy DPSD: There are two ways to treat this using like or lack of light. One way is to use a blocker sunglasses after 6 pm. They must be used very consistently. They block out the blu-rays that the ganglion cells on your retina absorbed and then send messages via your suprachiasmatic nucleus to your pineal gland and effect melatonin secretion.
