Open dialogue: First discuss this with your prescribing doctor. See if there are other options and if you have the right expectations from the medications. If this does not work out, seek another opinion from an appropriate mental health professional. Could the diagnosis be wrong? Could you be on the wrong medication? Could you be on the right medication but they need adjusting? Many issues to consider.

Discuss with your md: If u don't agree with your docs recommendation get a second opinion.

You can feel better: If you are having unpleasant side-effects, you should contact your prescriber immediately. If you are unsatisfied with your psychotropic medications, you should be honest with yourself about the expectations that you have regarding what the medication(s) will/will not do for you.
