I am 16 years old and i want to refuse blood work can i legally do this? my parents insist on this but i am horrible afraid of getting blood taken

Depends on the state: Your parents remain your legal spokesperson in most states until 18. In some states your input may be recognized, but they hold the final say. They can legally have you committed should the need arise. It sounds like you need to have some work done about your needle phobia & your family issues. If you are truly needle phobic it can prevent you from getting a job (tests rqd) or having a nl life.
