Parents tend to : Sometimes forget that their children are now adults ; they are not responsible for their health anymore. That being said, they are concerned that you are not taking care of yourself. High blood sugar can do permanent damage, blindness, nerve damage and loss of limbs. They do not want you to suffer. Work with a diabetes nurse or nutritionist to get control of your blood sugar.
