Diagnosis and TX: I would like to add also if you feel that the back surface of the front teeth specially should be evaluated by a dentist. Some times due to acid reflux these teeth may need to be crowned as the enamel is worn away quickly.

Help for sure: I often refer patients to a physician for a definitive diagnosis, but we can see several signs such as irritation/inflamation of the soft palate, tooth erosion and sometimes when a patient complains of bad breath, it has a pretty distinct smell.
