Sunburn Extreme: Sun poisoning involves more than a severe skin burn with blisters and swelling. It includes symptoms of fever, chills, nausea, loss of appetite, lightheadedness, and dehydration. A person may feel confused or faint and suffer from a severe headache. Some cases of sun poisoning need immediate medical attention.

'sun poisoning' is: An ambiguous term because it isn't a medical term for a specific conditon. 3 different conditions are often lumped into it. One form of sun poisoning includes rash w red skin ; possible blisters, fatigue, fevers, chills or headache. Another is called polymorphous light eruption(pmle) ; it has sxs that were just described as well as dense clusters of small bumps over the body w possible hives.

It is a sunburn: It is one and the same thing. Sun burns are red and painful and last for 4-5 days then go away, .
