Multiphase testing: X-rays and cat scans can help determine a cause. Upper and lower GI endoscopy can help identify or rule out a cause. Occasionally a trail of antispasmodic medications may be warranted. Probiotics are a safe way to see if there is a problem with overgrowth of abnormal bacteria in the GI tract.

Menstrual or digest?: Is this all of the time or only with your period. ? If related to menses find a gynecologist who specializes in pelvic pain. There are medications and surgeries that may help. If it is digestive ( ie related to eating) seek out a gastroenterologist who can begin a work up.
