Not enough info!: If this is worsening, your bite (assume it is by your description) may become infected. Certain bites (brown recluse spider, for example) can contain tissue toxins that lead to large(r) difficult-to-heal wounds that may require physician care or even surgery. If this is getting worse, see an md promptly. If no sign of worsening, oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will help the welt and itch.
