Good luck with that: Therein lies much of the practice of geriatrics. People who have lived 2-3 times longer than you, and are set in their ways, simply are not going to listen.Think of it as dealing with 2 2yr olds, with the added leverage that your love is not unconditional and has its limits. Inotherwords, you can advise, help with specific tasks, but beyond that, don't bother. They'll do better than u think....

Tough: You may need to ask another family members your grandparents would listen to. A close family friend may also be helpful. "I feel your pain. " as Bill Clinton often said.
