What are some better approaches to get my almost 4yr old to listen to me ?

.: Be consistent in advise. Monkey see, monkey do... - kids learn more by seeing you, so make sure he sees you doing what you advised him to do. Punishment/timeout as soon as he does something wrong. Ignore temper tantrums - don't even tell something negative - no punishment during tantrum - punishment comes immediately after.

4 YEARS OLD: Give a good example, set rules in the house . If your kid obeys, give rewards or praise him. Be positive not negative approach.
