Patience!: Being a caregiver for anyone can be quite challenging and caregiving for those with alzheimers is no exception. There are support groups both locally and online that provide helpful information. Seeking out those with experience is often helpful.

Depending how sick: Early alzheimer's is difficult to diagnose because pts. Are still very independent. It is important to supervise them often and as time passes by more and more close observation to the point that they will require 24/7 observation. Somebody needs to verify their bills are paid, they don't forget appointments or dates, they don't fall or get sick, check they eat & take meds. , shower or wash.
