Research: Visit nursing homes, research facilities, use word of mouth. There are many considerations including what additional services are provided like assisted living options, rehab, etc.

Visit website: Visit website for nursing homes as well as state agency.There is a rating system.Also visit unannounced to be able to assess the staff & enviorement.
