2 low 2 go: Most likely, you are precisely correct. 105/53 may be ok for youngsters but once your arteries get stiff, they don't adapt well to sudden drops of blood pressure, even to "normal levels" as defined in younger populations. Older people should be cautiously treated when adjusting blood pressure medication. Dose adjustment is appropriate but confer with your md before taking unilateral action.
