Different ways: While there are some studies that show that some artificial colors can lead to symptoms of adhd, these are not very large studies and most studies have shown no evidence that diet affects symptoms of adhd. However, food with stimulants like caffeine can lead to some calm in symptoms in some children with adhd but it does not last long and can cause rebound.

Depends: Studies show that kids with allergies have more trouble in school in all areas. Food sensitivities could be misdiagnosed as adhd. Low blood sugar can also cause the adhd symptoms. This is caused by diet-too much sugar, not enough protein.
