A member asked:

Can you qualify for disability for a anxiety disorder?

Yes: If anxiety is incapacitating and preventing you from gainful employement then you would be considered disabled. In most states this is difficult to get and time consuming. As you have to go before a board of physicians and will have to see one or more psychotherapists before that. I haven't seen anyone get it in less than two years in alabama.
