Maybe - Be careful: Any person having a pacemaker by definition has an underlying heart condition. Chest pain in any adult should be treated as a potentially serious symptom, never to be ignored. Never assume a cause for any chest pain, it must be looked into by your cardiologist. While some patients with pacemakers can have muscle or nerve pain, in many others the chest pain may indicate a more serious problem.

Pacemaker Pain: There are several possibilities with regard to your issue. Depending on how long you've had the pacemaker, it could be implant related (if recent) or scar/mechanically related (if older). Actual pain, with discharges are uncommon, but most patients can perceive something. If you truly have pain this could also be unrelated to the pacemaker and should be evaluated by a physician. Don't delay.
