How do i treat discolored toenails discoloration noted under some of toenails...not all...tried otc remedies but nothing helps?

Pills, laser or shoe: If you have a fungus infection under your toenails, the best treatments are either pills or laser. The discoloration may be bruising if your toes are arthritic and bent and/or if there is pressure on them from the shoe.

Depends on the cause: Some causes of nail discoloration include trauma due to tight shoes, infection, and medication side effects. You should try wearing shoes with a higher wider toe box. Get the feet inspected by a professional to determine the cause of the problem, as treatment varies depending on the diagnosis.
