my toenail is saw. i had a small piece of my nail discolored for about 6 months now, and it's bigger now, with small black spots. what treatment do you recommend. i would not mind removing the toenail for some kind of relief.

Sore toe: Don't know if you have a fungal infection. Are your shoes putting too much pressure on your toe? If yes, wear a different pair of shoes. Rather than you doing "bathroom surgery" on your toe - please consider being evaluated and treated by a podiatrist.
