Whats the cause: It depends on the cause of the rash. Rashes may itch due to a release of histamine. Others itch due to a disruption in the skin barrier exposing nerve endings. Finding the cause of the rash, and the reason for the itch, may help find a treatment that will work.

Rash: This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination & other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes. Once accurately assessed a treatment plan can be developed.
