Monitoring wound: Wound care involves examining/assess the wound: measurements, factors that impact healing, blood supply, infection, pain, location, depth, venous pressure and nutrition. Care of the wound is set up, and frequent monitoring to intervene if healing is slow or delayed.

Care for your wound: Wound care is steps taken to ensure that a wound heals correctly. Steps may include dressing changes, application of topical antibiotics or ointments, proper offloading, infection control, and professional wound debridement when indicated. See your physician and have them advise you on treatment options for your wound.
