My mom and dad are having high blood pressure.should they be on regular medicine though they don't have any other severe problems?please advice.thanks

Probably: I assume they had the pressure checked by their family doctor who would have recommended treatment if it is truly high. The data encouraging treatment for this condition is solid. They would need to normalize their pressure to avoid 'other serious problems'.Have them recheck with their doctor.
