Twins: It sounds like your twins are identical. "in the same sac" may mean that they are sharing the same placenta. The medical term for that is monochorionic. "separate amnions" is consistent with being in separate sacs but still sharing the same placenta. Diamniotic is the medical term for separate sacs. Check with your doctor.
