Identical twins: Your twins are identical, they share the same genetic code because they came from the same fertilized egg. The fact that there are two amniotic sacs but one placenta means that there was complete division of all the fetal tissues. There are some increased risks with a twin pregnancy and it is considered a high-risk situation, but nothing out of hand for any good local ob/gyn. Congratulations!

Mono di: You babies are mono chorionic, share placenta, but di amniotic different sacs. Risks are somewhat higher than di, di twins but not as high as babies in the same sac who can get tangled in each others cord.
