Contact lenses: Your eyes just appear smaller because the eyelids are less open. Try using frequent artificial tears and giving yourself a short break from contact lens wear.

Unkown answer: This is not enough information to even begin to give a decent answer. If this really happening then you need to see an ophthalmologist for evaluation to determine options.

Liquid tears: Tears are helpful. But i would ask ophthalmologist about another type that might be better for your eyes.

Should wearing contact lenses make your eyes dry?

No: Contacts are supported on a tear film (they do not actually touch the eye) so if your tears are deficient, wearing the contacts may be uncomfortable but the contacts will not cause dryness.
