Phlebitis: This may be a phlebitis and woud likely happen if there were varicose veins in this area. If you are concerned then an ultrasound will diagnose this for you.

Must Test to Know: Presentation with bruise & pain in the leg could be from dozens of different conditions & at your age & no risk factors a DVT is unlikely but a possibility. There are many other non-vascular conditions that could also lead to leg pain. Recommend you see a local doctor & get checked out. The only way to assess for DVT is blood test called D-dimer test or get ultrasound of your leg veins. Good luck
