Usually not: Reading is usually spared by mild concussion or brain injury. A precise stroke/bleed/contusion in some areas can produce language or reading difficulties, but this usually not what is termed slight brain injury. Mild concussions usually spare overlearned skills such as reading, but again, it may depend on age and what is meant by slight. Severity : http://cpancf.Com/headinjuryclassification.Asp.
