Brain injury: If the part of the brain that controls emotions was affected, a symptom such as crying could occur. Could give mood swings or other emotional effects. Review with your doctor where your injury most affected your brain to see if they agree.

Pseudobulbar maybe: Lesions in certain areas of the brain provoke this very commonly. Neurologist may confirm or rule out pseudobulbar symptoms or other causes. Ask your dr. Best of luck.

Post TBI: What you are describing is the consequence of injury to the frontal lobe. This is not normal. Whether the injury is permanent is or not, i can't say.
