Anytime: There is not a specific time for this to show up. Symptoms occur when a tumor is big enough to create dysfunction. Neuroblastoma occurs in children under 5 years usually. The first symptoms are usually fever, a general sick feeling (malaise), and pain. There may be loss of appetite, weight loss, and diarrhea. This website has some good information. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/pmh0002.
