No: Bulimia refers to binging and purging either by vomiting or laxative abuse. Some early teens may try it once or twice, often at the urging of a peer, and give it up; but, it is not a "usual" behavior that can be safely ignored. Typically, once a teen has started engaging in this cycle, it proves quite difficult to give up and requires experienced professional help to stop it.
