Body Water, not Cell: Our body is made mostly from water, ~62% if lean. About 2/3 of the water is inside cells, 1/3 outside. The fat molecules of the cell membranes are what separate inside water from outside water. Lipoproteins carry fat molecules in the water outside cells, that is their function. Which fat molecules do they carry? All fat molecules, not just cholesterol. Hdl removes fats from cells with excess.
