A member asked:

What do cardiac rehabilitation nurses do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Increase activity: The cardiac rehabilitation nurse helps you safely increase activity level following myocardial infarctions, or cardiac surgery. They follow you in a monitored setting which allows them to notify your physician if any rhythm or blood pressure problem occurs as your exercise level is increased. They also counsel you on proper diet, and medication regimes.
