Hello. : Hello. I would ask your son's pediatrician to provide you with more information and education on this matter. Lead levels in blood are measured in micrograms per deciliter (mcg/dl.). Many doctor;'s make a diagnosis of lead poisoning if the blood level is higher than 10 mcg/dl. It is important to find out if your child's lead level was reported in mcg/dl. There are some people that contend that there should be no lead in people's blood. Would clarify this further with pediatrician. Take care.

Relax: While working as a developmental pediatric fellow some 3 decades ago, they didn't worry about any lead level under 10.Then as now, the primary issue was finding out where the exposure came from and stopping it. Levels over 40 were often met with developmental delays and anemia, while levels over 60 could cause seizures. I would relax and work with the doc.
