Considered safe: As we have reduced lead in out environment the acceptable levels have declined. Most screening centers will accept up to a 7 as normal while 3 decades ago it was 10, you can always strive to locate any removable source in a kids environment at any time.This is the primary thing we do for kids in the 10-20 range anyway.
